A series of dynamic presentations by small press/self-publishers and workshops exploring collaborative printing practices as well as self-publishing. Organized for festival Wereld van Witte de With, this project continues Witte de With & PrintRoom’s on-going collaboration.

Art Basel has announced the winners of the 25,000 USD Discoveries Prize at the first edition of Art Basel in Hong Kong they are Navid Nuur and Adrian Ghenie, presented by Galeria Plan B from Berlin and Cluj. DR - 24.05.13

The Whitney Museum is going back to basics, or at least that’s what you might think with their new brand identity redesign that was unveiled today. Created by Amsterdam-based Experimental Jetset, the new logo is an acute replacement to the rectilinear typeface rolled out 13 years ago and designed by Abbott Miller of New York-based Pentagram. DR - 22.05.13

The last full-time art critic in the city of Chicago was laid off by Time Out magazine last month. Now, there are fewer than ten full-time art critics employed by newspapers and magazines in the country.  DR - 20.05.13

NASA (voorheen Smart) is in financiële problemen. Het heeft op 13 mei surceance van betaling aangevraagd en gekregen. Er is een bewindvoerder aangesteld die werkt aan een doorstart. Op 31 juli komen de crediteuren bijeen om de situatie te bespreken. (via Trendbeheer). DR - 20.05.13
