Gabriel Tarde suffered from intermittent periods of semi-blindness, an extreme form of myopia that may have severely affected his academic work, yet may well have led to the most potent theme of a neglected yet important work.
There’s been quite a lot of talk recently about re-enactment. Or, I should say, the term re-enactment has become of late an understanding. A, I won’t say common, but I would say established and even captivating, notion. Perhaps not excessively widespread, but certainly not remote either.
