Gerrit Rietveld Academie Graduation Shows 2014
Last Wednesday The Rietveld Graduation Show 2014 opened. This pleasantly chaotic event is remarkably tidy this year. Most graduates present their work in carefully arranged gallery-like settings. What is striking about this years show is the amount of performance, which seems to correspond with a growing presence of performative events in the art world in general. Here follows a visual report.
