International branding of museums
Will there ever be a Stedelijk Museum Moscow, Beijing or Dubai? Other museums do expand to other cities: Guggenheim, Louvre, Centre Pompidou, Tate, and the Hermitage. After opening a museum in Amsterdam the Hermitage also opens a cultural and research centre in Venice.
