Alec Baldwin settles case with Mary Boone
The long-running art world dispute between Alec Baldwin and the art dealer Mary Boone has been settled, with Ms. Boone paying at least $1 million to the actor and celebrity.
He claimed that Ms. Boone deceived him by promising a painting, “Sea and Mirror,” by the artist Ross Bleckner, that had been sold at Sotheby’s to a Los Angeles collector in 2007, but in fact supplied Mr. Baldwin with another similar Bleckner painting, also called “Sea and Mirror.”
