Last week, Christie’s witnessed the most expensive art market transaction of all time. At Christie’s postwar and contemporary evening sale on Wednesday night, Salvator Mundi (ca. 1500) by Leonardo da Vinci was sold for a recordbreaking amount of $450.3 million. 

Which is $150 million more than what was believed to be the previous highest transaction.

In addition to Leonardo da Vinci, also Parreno, Pendleton, Vija Celmins, Isamu Noguchi, and Kerry James Marshall received record prices.
