The residents were selected from 1600 applications. Half of them are Dutch or based in The Netherlands. The other half is international. The jury consisted of Rijksakademie advisors, alumni and professionals from the contemporary artworld: Salim Bayri, Ansuya Blom, Banu Cennetoğlu,Isabelle Cornaro, Aude Christel Mgba, Vera Mey, Melvin Moti, Christodoulos Panayiotou, Wendelien van Oldenborgh en Antonio Vega Macotela.
The residents will start in January, meaning that the residencies will take place from January until December. The next Open Studios will take place in November 2026.
